The package connects to an identity provider—preferably Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID—to automate and streamline access control. First, connect the package to your identity provider. Next, the system programmatically performs key actions so every decision stays secure and auditable. In other words, approvals become consistent and traceable.

• At the manager’s approval, extend a contractor’s access.
• At the manager’s approval, terminate a contractor’s access immediately.
• At the manager’s approval, convert a contractor’s access to long-term, similar to an employee.

Contractor access management control: expiration and notifications

Meanwhile, managers can choose to let access end on the contract’s date. Additionally, the system monitors expiry dates in real time and sends daily notifications when fewer than 14 days remain. Then, it sends up to three reminders to each manager.

If no one responds after the final reminder, the system notifies your Identity Access Management team to terminate access. As a result, this vendor access management approach prevents orphaned accounts and maintains compliance. Ultimately, risk goes down while visibility goes up.

Mobile approvals on any device

In addition, the application includes a mobile-friendly interface so managers can act from any device. With a few taps, a manager can initiate an extension, approve a request, or remove access in real time.
